Granite

Granite is hard and tough, and therefore it is perfect for use as a construction stone. Once cut and polished, it becomes a beautiful focal point for any home as a countertop, flooring, or a wall.

At Texas Innovation Home Remodeling, we allow you to choose from an almost limitless selection of granite ranging from neutral colors to vibrant tones and from uniform grains to exotic patterns immitating rivers of color. Neutral tones like browns and beiges are a safe bet for countertops, but blacks give the kitchen a classy and elegant look.

We will envite you to visit our granite supplier personally. Each slab differs in hues, flakes, speckles and you get the feel of it only when you see it. You can then hand-pick your selection.

Did you know?

Granite is an igneous rock, formed when magma (molten rock) is forced between other rocks in the Earth's crust. Granites often form large intrusions in the core of mountain ranges. The appearance is determined by

what kind of minerals, such as sediments or basalt, were melted deep inside the earth before cooling to form the granite.

Marble

Marble is one of the most versatile materials discovered by man. Its elegance and durability make it a prime choice for many and varied uses.

Living spaces and entryways are the ideal place to use marble on the floor or on the walls. Since it is a form of limestone, it is extremely susceptible to acids, including citric acid and vinegar. Therefore, we suggest choosing other stones for the kitchen.

Marble is formed from limestone, a sedimentary rock, under heat and pressure deep within the earth's crust.

White marble has been prized for its use in sculptures since classical times. It is easy to work with and is resistant

to shattering. It also allows light to penetrate several millimeters into the stone before being scattered out resulting in the characteristic waxy look which gives "life" to marble sculptures and structures.
